ゲームの素晴らしさを思う

ゲームという総合芸術の素晴らしさを改めて認識した。

特に今のゲームは鑑賞者からの主体的関わりと、表現者の主体的発信の意味からすると、

芸術本来の持つ社会的な役割を、実社会の中で大きく担っている。

 

それは、個で表現する世界とはまるで違うようだ。

しかし異なるようで、芸術としては真理を追究しているのであって、

手法と制作方法との相違があるだけで、本質は変わらないのである。

 

個で表現する世界とは、同時代に生きる人間の感じたり考えたりする世界の創造的代弁でもあるが、

多で表現する世界も同様である。

多で表現する世界では、チームを組みその中での個別的役割の総体として、

作品は完成し、そこには意思決定の監督がいる。

それぞれの異なる役割を担う一人ひとりの制作者も、監督も、己を出し切るという意味では作品は完成しているものだが、

総意を個別的メッセージとしてまとめ、本質を追究する意味では、作品世界は、永遠に未完成なのかもしれない。

そこを創意によって、一つにまとめ上げることが集団制作をする難しさでもある。

しかし、真に迫る作品とは真理への追究がまとまっているものだ。

同時に、それは作品である以上、他の或る人の真理とは異なるものかもしれない。

 

鑑賞者として、ゲームの為せる感覚的表現世界を、改めて素晴らしいと思った。

I once again recognized the wonderfulness of the total art of the game.

But it seems different, as art is pursuing truth,

In the meaning of consolidating consensus as an individual message and pursuing essence, the work world may be incomplete for eternity.
