メリーゴーランド

そうさ人生はメリーゴーランド。

ぐるぐると回るのさ。

回って回ってやっぱりここにいた。

自分は一つも動かなかった。

 

自分は木馬にまたがりここにいた。

でも景色は回っていた。

いや回されていたのだ。

楽しく悲しく回りゆきつつ感じていた。

確かにそれは自分だった。

 

お前は傷つき倒れそうなのか。

でもお前はこないだ祝宴で陽気に笑っていたじゃないか。

 

お前は楽しくて仕方ないのか?

でもお前はこないだ葬式で泣いていたじゃないか?

 

そうさ人生はメリーゴーランド。

季節は巡り回っていく。

でも変わらない。

自分は確かにここにいる。

Merry-go-round

 

 

That way life is a merry-go-round.

I will go round and round.

I turned around and stayed here after all.

I did not move at all.

 

I straddled the wooden horse and stayed here.

But the scenery was turning.

It was being turned around.

I felt fun and sad around me.

Sure it was myself.

 

Are you going to hurt and collapse?

But you had laughed cheerfully at the last feast.

 

You are fun and can not help it?

But you had been crying at a funeral the other day?

 

That way life is a merry-go-round.

The seasons are going around.

But it does not change.

I am surely here.
