限りなく実在を追及する

極限の細さと肉感の中に、人間の実在を表現したアルベルト・ジャコメッティー。

昨日、大回顧展を観に行った。

彼の「歩く男」。

学生の時初めて見た野外彫刻展の中で、ひときわ目立つ存在だった。

その彼の作品と魂に、数十年ぶりに再会したのだった。

細長い身体に凛と立つ体重を失ったフォルムの外面。

ただれたような肉感の内面。

内面にも外面にも、人間の真の姿に迫った迫力のある作品であった。

人間存在の実在に対する追及美が見事に表現され、彼の世界から、魂の深淵に触れた気がしてならなかった。

Alberto Giacometti who expressed the existence of human beings in extreme narrowness and flesh sensation.

I went to see a large retrospective yesterday.

His "walking man".

It was an outstanding presence in the outdoor sculpture exhibition that I saw when I was a student for the first time.

It was his reunion with his work and soul for the first time in decades.

The outer surface of a form that lost weight that stands on a long and slender body.

The inside of a flesh sensation as unruly.

It was a powerful work that approached the true form of human beings both on the inside and outside.

The beauty pursued to the real existence of human existence was expressed brilliantly and I felt like touching the abyss of the soul from his world.
