無関心

愛の反対は他者への無関心である。

他者への無関心は、貧困と暴力を生みだす。

世界中の人々が無関心であれば、世界はあっという間に壊れてなくなるだろう。

 

無関心とは、外向きな心を閉じて、内向きな世界で完結するようにする態度だ。

人を傷つけても、知らない他人のふりをしたり。

反感を買ったら、さらに暴力で相手を追い詰めたり。

その一方で、煩わしい外の世界から逃げて、逃げて、逃げ続ける。

自分だけ良ければ良いという態度である。

 

しかし、人間はどんなに懸命に無関心の中に逃げても、結局は逃げられない。

無関心を押し通していると、自分がそのうち破滅していくからである。

もう戻れないほど、自分も環境もボロボロになった時、人間は、他者からの愛に初めて気が付くのである。

 

そういう時の愛への目覚めはとても強い。

その人にとって忘れられない、一生の物となるだろう。

Indifference

 

 

The opposite of love is indifference to others.

Indifference to others creates poverty and violence.

If people all over the world are indifferent, the world will soon be broken.

 

Indifference is an attitude that closes the outward mind and completes it in an inward world.

Even if you hurt people, you can pretend to be strangers.

If you buy a feeling of rebellion, you can pursue your opponent with violence.

On the other hand, run away from the troubled outside world, run away, and keep running away.

It is an attitude that only you are good.

 

However, no matter how hard humans run away in indifference, they cannot run away.

If you push indifference, you will eventually be destroyed.

When you and your environment are so devastating that you can't go back anymore, humans will first notice love from others.

 

Awakening to love at that time is very strong.

It will be an unforgettable, lifelong thing for that person.
