「心で感じてほしい」

分からないもものがこの世には多い。

それを分からないままで終わらせるのは、諦めの一種だ。

 

私の作品も、分からないという人がたくさんいる。

言ってもらわないと分からないと。

それは分からないものを分かろうとする態度が足りないのだ。

自分にはわからないと、心を塞いでいるのである。

 

むしろ私は、頭で分かるよりも心で作品を感じてほしいと思っている。

色と形が心に訴えかけるその気持ちを、率直に感想にしてほしいのである。

 

作品は、作品そのもので訴えかけなければ作品ではない。

なるべく私は、口で作品を補足したくない。

自分の作品の未熟さを、ごまかすような事をしたくないのだ。

だから私は、人の前で口で補う事をあまりしないのである。

求められたら、応えるようにしている。

 

理性で分からなくても、生で感じたその感情を一番大切にしてほしいのである。

心で感じたその感情を大切にしてもらいたいのである。
