「不自由の中の自由」

自分が自分に課した事を、自分でやること。

それが自由である。

誰かに課された事をやる事は不自由である。

しかし、不自由の中に自由を見つける事もまた、自由である。

つまり、やれと与えれれた事を、自分なりに工夫してやる事にも、自由があるのである。

どんな境遇においても、心の中は自由である。

"Freedom in inconvenience"

Do what you have done for yourself.

That is free.

It is inconvenient to do what is imposed on someone.

But finding freedom in inconvenience is also freedom.

In other words, you have the freedom to devise what you are given.

Whatever the situation, the mind is free.
