「野球と絵画」

 

 

絵の世界も野球と一緒だ。

ホームランのような絵が描けると思えば、次の一枚は空振りの絵になることもある。

でも、いつもホームランを打つように努力していれば、ホームランの質や確率を上げることはできる。

だから毎日必死に描くのだ。

会心の一枚に行き着くまで、毎日毎日心を込めて描くしかないのである。

枚数も重ね、技術や質も上げていかなくてはならない。

 

毎日バットを何百回も振っていれば、仮に試合で空振りでも、それは空振りとしての価値が出てくるのである。

空振りに意味ができるということだ。

だからそれを分析して、次の試合に臨めるのである。

 

ヒットのような絵が出ても「普通だね」で終わってしまう。

「素晴らしい普通さ」でなくてはならないのだ。

仮にヒットなら、思わずハッとする華麗なヒットでなくてはいけない。

 

自分も誰もも納得のいくホームランのような絵が何枚も出てくるかは、日頃の取り組みをきちんと努力しているかどうかに掛かっているのである。
