「芸術家の仕事」

私には休みの日がない。

起きている時間の全てが「仕事」である。

一日中駆けずり回っている。

芸術家は、今生きている運命と生活の全てから、真理を学び、表現しなくてはいけない。

求道者でありながら、作家でなくてはいけないのだ。

絵を描くことや、文章を書くことは、もちろん芸術家としての基本の「仕事」である。

それは、アウトプットして表現するための毎日の仕事であるが、

読書や、ゲームや、旅に行く事さえも、インプットするための「仕事」なのである。

芸術家は、学びや遊びまでもが「仕事」なのだ。

芸術家とは、生きている事自体がもう「仕事」なのである。

"Artist's work"

I have no days off.

All of the time that is awake is "work."

I run around all day long.

The artist has to learn and express the truth from all his destiny and his life.

I have to be an investigator and an expressor.

Painting and writing are of course the basic "work" of an artist.

It is a daily work to output and express,

Reading, playing games, and even going on trips are "work" for input.

As an artist,  even learning and playing are “work”.

As an artist, living things are already "work".
