「７月１０日の思い出」

 

 

今日は原宿の展示の初日だ。

「RAW&PRIMITIVE展」THE BLANK GALLERYにて開催である。

思えば原宿には15年振りに行く。

見たことのない景色が広がっているだろうか。

 

大きく重い絵を肩からぶら下げ、電車へと乗った。

 

原宿に着くとやはり覚えていた景色だった。

15年じゃそんなに変わっていない印象だった。

 

馴染みの通りの馴染みの街の顔。

 

ブティックの多い裏道を進み、ギャラリーへと向かった。

歩いていると大粒の雨が降り出した。

途中、道を失い雨宿りをしたが、そこから歩いてすぐの所にギャラリーが見つかった。

 

ビルの三階。

予定の時間の二十分前に着いた。

 

オーナーや出展者と挨拶を交わし、展示作業へと移った。

自分の分はあっさりと終わり、来ていない他の出展者の分を手伝った。

 

3時間ほど飾り付けを手伝い、良い汗を流した。

 

展示がうまくいくことを祈っている。

Today is the first day of the Harajuku exhibition.

"RAW & PRIMITIVE Exhibition" is being held at THE BLANK GALLERY.

When I think about it, I go to Harajuku for the first time in 15 years.

Is the scenery that I have never seen spread?

 

I hung a large and heavy picture from my shoulder and got on the train.

 

When I arrived in Harajuku, it was the scenery I remembered.

It was the impression that 15 years hasn't changed so much.

 

The familiar face of the city, as I know it.

 

I went down the back road with many boutiques and headed for the gallery.

As I was walking, it began to rain heavily.

On the way, I lost my way and stayed in the rain, but I found a gallery just a short walk from there.

 

The third floor of the building.

Arrived 20 minutes before the scheduled time.

 

I exchanged greetings with the owner and exhibitors, and moved on to the exhibition work.

My part was finished easily, and I helped other exhibitors who did not come.

 

I helped decorate for about 3 hours and sweated a lot.

 

I hope the exhibition will be successful.
