「人間の光を描く」

人間の闇を描いて名を挙げた芸術家はたくさんいる。

しかし、人間の光を描いて名を挙げた芸術家はまだまだ少ないと思う。

愛や希望や平和といった、光の側面に焦点を当てた作品。

そういうものを描く作家がもっといても良いと思う。

人間の情感に訴える作品とは、貧困、絶望、対立など、どうしてもネガティブなモチーフが多い。

だから私は、ポジティブなイメージを描きたいのである。
