「闇の中の光」
暗闇の中を彷徨うことの怖さ。
これは山梨県キャンプ場を始めることで再認識した。
日が暮れると、とにかく真っ暗になり何にも見えなくなる。
森の木々が風にざわめく音を聴きながら、漆黒の空間がどこまでもどこまでも続いている。
天を見上げれば３６０度星の世界。
地の世界は深い闇だ。
まるで宇宙空間のようで、とてもその無のような空間を灯なしで一人でなんか歩けない。
どこが崖なのかもわからない森閑の闇の世界だ。
都会には電燈やネオンのおかげで闇が滅多にない。
何にも意識しなくても光の恩恵に預かっている。
だから都会人の私は改めて驚く。
これが闇かと。
全く光が届かない自然とは、本当に怖いものだなあ、と思う。
そんな真っ暗な中で光る懐中電灯は、まさに闇の中の光。
絶望の中の希望・救い主だ。
私はこれをテーマに制作しているのに、このリアリティーをしっかり今まで認識していなかったかもしれない。
だが、山と都会で二重生活することで、私は新たに、真の闇のリアルな認識を獲得した。
そう思うとアーティストキャンプ村「日本芸術村」を始めたのは、私の芸術を確かなものにする、天からのご縁だったと思うのである。
"Light in the darkness"
The fear of wandering in the dark.
This was reaffirmed by starting the Yamanashi campsite.
When the sun goes down, it just goes black and you can't see anything.
While listening to the buzzing sounds of the trees in the forest, the jet-black space continues endlessly.
If you look up at the heavens, you will see the world of 360-degree stars.
The world of the earth is deep darkness.
It's like outer space, and I can't walk alone in that empty space without lights.
It's a dark world in a quiet forest where you don't even know where the cliffs are.
Darkness is rare in the city thanks to lamps and neon lights.
Even if you are not conscious of anything, you are entrusted with the benefits of light.
That's why I'm an urban person, and I'm surprised again.
Is this darkness?
I think that nature, where light does not reach at all, is really scary.
A flashlight that shines in such pitch darkness is exactly the light in the darkness.
Hope and savior in despair.
I'm working on this theme, but I may not have been aware of this reality until now.
However, by living double in the mountains and in the city, I gained a new real perception of true darkness.
With that in mind, I think that the reason why I started the artist camp village "Japanese Art Village" was the connection from heaven that made my art certain.
