死後、著作権が切れるまでは、その表現はその作家のものである。

作家として有名になれば、数千万数億円単位の破格の値段がつく反面、人脈やスポンサーがないと1円でも売るのに苦労する世界である。
そのように、絵画は社会には消費されにくい。
だが本当の芸術はこれでなくちゃいけない。
イラストと絵画では、そのような違いがあるのである。
