「4月芸術村」
4月の第三週、ひと月振りに芸術村にやってきた。
都心では桜は葉桜に変わり始めたが、こちらでは山桜がバンガローの近くに見事に咲いている。
初日は冷たい雨だった。
高速バスに揺られ山梨県に入ると、雨がパラついてきた。
芸術村に着いた13時頃には少し雨は上がったが、夕方から真夜中にかけて激しい雨が降り始めた。
管理棟の外壁を轟々と雨粒が打ち付ける。
幸いなことに、私は芸術村に来る片道の道程ですっかり疲れ、雨が1番ひどい時に眠りについていた。
真夜中に起きるともうすっかり雨は止んでいた。
今日は、芸術村到着の前に、長坂の甲信鉄工所に行き、東屋を組み立てる予定の部品を見てきた。
鉄工所というだけあって鉄骨で部品が作ってあり、できたらとても頑丈な作りになりそうだ。
芸術村に到着すると東屋の基礎が確認できた。
四畳半あるので、敷地内ではかなり広い基礎になっていた。
土中から九つのポールが立ててあり、中にコンクリートが流し込んであった。
生憎の雨で今日は乾かないが、明日には晴れてコンクリートも乾くだろう。
組み立てる部品も基礎も確認できた。
さあ、これから柱や屋根が組まれていくのが大変楽しみである。
"April Art Village"
In the third week of April, I came to the art village for the first time in a month.
In the city center, cherry blossoms began to turn into leaf cherry blossoms, but here wild cherry blossoms were in bloom near the bungalows.
It was cold rain on the first day.
When I was swayed by a high-speed bus and entered Yamanashi prefecture, it started to rain.
It rained a little around 13:00 when I arrived at the art village, but it began to rain heavily from evening to midnight.
Raindrops roar against the outer wall of the administration building.
Fortunately, I was so tired on the one-way journey to the art village that I fell asleep when the rain was the heaviest.
When I woke up in the middle of the night, the rain had stopped.
Today, before arriving at the art village, I went to the Koshin Iron Works in Nagasaka to see the parts to be assembled in the eastern house.
Since it is an ironworks, parts are made of steel frames, and it seems that it will be very sturdy when completed.
When I arrived at the art village, I was able to confirm the basics of the eastern house.
Since it is four and a half tatami mats, it was a fairly large foundation on the premises.
Nine poles were erected from the soil, and concrete was poured into them.
It won't dry today due to unfortunate rain, but it will be fine tomorrow and the concrete will dry.
I was able to confirm the parts to be assembled and the foundation.
Now, I'm really looking forward to the pillars and roofs being assembled.
