「北鎌倉個展5日目」
朝５時半に家を出て、鎌倉のスターバックスに7時半に着く。
９時までカフェ内２階でネットの仕事をし、ダイソーで搬出梱包用の養生テープと布テープを買ってギャラリーに向かった。
北鎌倉駅に着くと駅の向かいから偶然オーナー夫婦が現れて、お互いに手を振って「おはよう」の挨拶を交わした。
私はコンビニに行くので一度彼らと別れて、後からギャラリーへ向かった。
さて今日からデッサンイベントだ。
三日間限定でお客様を描く。
最高に晴れ渡った今日、店の軒先のテーブル席で画材の準備をする。
まずは女性二人組が来た。
げーじゅつまるくんの絵をかわいいと気に入ってくれたので、売り物ではない落書きしたコースターをあげた。
次に両親が来てくれて、母のデッサンをまず試しに描かせてもらう。
両親は良いところで個展ができたと喜んでくれた。
その時フレンチブルドッグを連れたアリス社長が来た。
聖書の勉強を始めたそうで、旧約聖書のどこが好きなのかを、私と少し話し合った。
彼は「創世記」の人間の年齢の数え方や、「トビト記」のラファエルが好きだと言っていた。
評論家の沼田さんも「天国に行きたいからね。」と冗談を言い、いらっしゃった。
講評して頂き、作品にとても良い印象を持っていただけた。
沼田さんも人物デッサンを描かせて頂く。
もう本当に喜んでくれた。
「今日はいらして頂きありがとうございました。」と言ったら、「ありがとうを言うのはこちらだよ。素晴らしいデッサンをありがとう。」と褒めていただけた。
線を描き終えて彩色中の描いている背中から「あら、上手じゃないの～！」と誰かの声がする。
新構造社の川邊さん達３人組だ。
川崎で教室を持つ川邊先生に、弟子の星川さんと浅地さんが来てくれたのだ。
展示内容には非常に感心してくれた。
素晴らしいお祝いもいただき、本当にありがたいことだった。
ファンになっていただいたコレクターの方もいらっしゃった。
私のガラス絵「ホスチア」を気に入ってくれて、今度買いたいと仰ってくれた。
昨日に、有楽町マリオン朝日ギャラリーで開催している「カトリック美術展」もご覧くださり、今日は入口に立って少し一覧して観ただけで「お腹がもういっぱい。もうこれ以上入らない。」と喜びのため息をついてくれた。
「CROSS-EDEN」も写真に収め、少しお話しし、次の目的地へ向かわれた。
怒涛のお客様ラッシュが一度止み、気がつけば午後一時半。
お昼を食べて、少し休憩したら、今度は少し暇になった。
ギャラリー前をお客様が通るが、中に入るにはやっぱり敷居が高く入りづらいようである。
そこで考えた。
入口の外にあるテーブルで風景画でも描いて、お客様に実際描いてる姿を見せてみよう、と。
自分を見せ物にしようと考えたわけだ。
ギャラリー内を空っぽにし、一度外に出て風景画を描き始めたら、やっぱりお客様がギャラリーの中に入ってきてくれた。
家族連れやカップルが入ってきてくれた。
やってみたら、ギャラリーの前を通っていく人々の注目を一気に浴びたのである。
風景画を描きおわりパラソルの棒に貼って展示すると、次は紫陽花を描き始めた。
そんな感じで午後4時まで描いていると、今度は、本当にお世話になっている新世紀美術協会の紀井さんがいらっしゃった。
30分ほど滞在して話し、喜んで帰られた。
今日はそんな具合で1日が終わった。
非常に充実した日曜日の営業であった。
"Kita-Kamakura Solo Exhibition Day 5"
I left home at 5:30 in the morning and arrived at Starbucks in Kamakura at 7:30.
I worked online until 9 o'clock on the 2nd floor of the cafe, bought a curing tape and cloth tape for carrying out and packing at Daiso, and headed to the gallery.
Upon arriving at Kita-Kamakura Station, the owner and his wife happened to appear from across the station, waving each other and exchanging "good morning" greetings.
I went to a convenience store, so I parted from them once and went to the gallery later.
Now it's a drawing event from today.
Draw a customer for only three days.
Today, when it's sunny, I prepare painting materials at the table seats at the eaves of the store.
First of all, a pair of women came.
They liked the picture of Gejutsumaru-kun as cute, so I gave her a scribbled coaster that wasn't for sale.
Then my parents came and asked my mother to try her drawing first.
My parents were pleased that I had a solo exhibition in a good place.
At that time, President Alice came with a French Bulldog.
He started studying the Bible and talked with me a little about what he liked about the Old Testament.
He said he liked how to count human age in Genesis and Rafael in Tobit.
Mr. Numata, a critic, also joked, "I want to go to heaven."
I had him comment and gave him a very good impression of the work.
I drew Mr. Numata's drawing.
He was really pleased.
When I said, "Thank you for coming today," he praised me, "This is where I say thank you. Thank you for your wonderful drawing."
Someone says, "Oh, that's good!" From my back, where I've finished drawing the lines and painting the colors.
It is a group of three people, Ms. Kawabe of the Shinkozo Company.
Ms. Kawabe, who has a classroom in Kawasaki, and his disciples, Ms. Hoshikawa and Ms. Asaji, came.
They were very impressed with the contents of the exhibition.
I was really grateful for the wonderful celebration.
There were also collectors who became fans.
He liked my glass painting "Hoscia" and asked me to buy it next time.
Yesterday, he also saw the "Catholic Art Exhibition" held at the Yurakucho Marion Asahi Gallery, and today he stood at the entrance and just took a look at it and said, "I'm full. I can't get any more. He sighed with joy.
He also took a picture of "CROSS-EDEN", talked a little, and headed to his next destination.
The fierce customer rush stopped once, and I noticed it was 1:30 pm.
After having lunch and taking a short break, I had a little free time.
Customers pass in front of the gallery, but it seems that the threshold is too high to get inside.
I thought there.
I wanted to draw a landscape painting on the table outside the entrance and show the customer what I was actually drawing.
I wanted to show myself.
Once I emptied the gallery, went outside and started painting landscapes, customers came into the gallery.
Families and couples came in.
When I tried it, I got the attention of people passing in front of the gallery at once.
After drawing a landscape painting and pasting it on a stick of umbrellas, I started drawing hydrangeas.
When I was drawing until 4 pm like that, this time, Mr. Kii of the Sbinseiki Art Association, who was really indebted to me, came.
He stayed for about 30 minutes, talked, and was happy to return.
That's how the day ended today.
It was a very fulfilling Sunday business.
