「朝食おにぎり」
今日は朝３時半からおにぎり作りだった。
お客様の朝食用にと昨日作ったピラフに梅やシーチキンを入れて、海苔で巻いて握った。
その次はポット一杯のドリップコーヒー作り。
前日からお客様が泊まり、その日は２時間しか寝ずに深夜執筆活動をし、そのままピラフおにぎり作りへと移ったのである。
とにかく昨日のおもてなしは大成功であった。
だから今日まで気を抜いてはいけない。
そう思って気合いも入り、特製おにぎりは、特別に大きなおにぎりになってしまった。
お客様を泊めているバンガロー地蔵岳には、ちょうどおにぎり画家・宮下泉さんの作品「牛カルビおにぎり」もある。
それが変わり種おにぎりとして妙に共通しているところに面白みを感じた。
そこで一句。

"Breakfast rice balls"
Today I started making rice balls from 3:30 in the morning.
I put plums and sea chicken in the pilaf I made yesterday for my breakfast, wrapped it in seaweed and squeezed it.
Next is making a pot of drip coffee.
The customer stayed from the day before, and I slept for only two hours on that day and started writing at midnight, and then moved on to making pilaf rice balls.
Anyway, yesterday's hospitality was a great success.
So don't let your guard down until today.
With that in mind, the special rice balls became a specially large rice ball.
At the bungalow Jizodake, where customers are staying, there is also a rice ball painter, Izumi Miyashita's work "Ushikalbi Onigiri".
I found it interesting that it was strangely common as a different kind of rice ball.
